Solve the puzzle to open the story gate
I was walking with Eli in the forest. Beautiful flowers surrounded us.
Suddenly, Eli stopped walking and smiled. She faced me and asked, “Riri, do you know why some parts of the plants are colorful? But, some others are just green?
I looked at her with questioning eyes. I said, “I don’t know, but let me guess. Is it because the green parts are not grown enough?”.
Eli sniffed a flower and smiled. Then she explained, “Some of the green parts are the leaves or the stems.
They are always there. And the colorful parts bloom. Those coloured parts are flowers. Some plants have flowers, some do not.
It depends on many factors. Some of these factors are the growth cycle, the plant type, the climate, the care, etc.
I scratched my head. It made a spark and I smiled. I said, “I now understand Eli! Flowers are just like fruits.”
Eli laughed and said, “That is a good comparison Riri. Let’s keep moving. We have lots of beautiful plants to see.”
