I was watching cartoons on TV with Eli.

Then, she switched to the Sports Channel. There was a basketball match. The players were running and jumping. They were jumping very high. They also ran fast. I was really excited.

I was really excited. I even tried to jump on the couch just like them. I turned to Eli and said, “WOW! How can they jump so high?”. Eli told me “They are basketball players, athletes.”

She pointed to the head. “It starts here,” she said. And she added, “They decide what to do in their minds.” They continued running, jumping, and hitting the ball.

I tried to jump like them. I cannot.

 Then, Eli smiled and said, “They are working hard for this. Also, look at their legs and feet. Their legs and feet let them jump high. Also, their feet help them move fast. And their arms and hands let them grab and push.”

We watched the whole match. I was amazed how fast and strong they are. We tried to move like them

We had an amazing time watching sports.

We also had fun trying to jump like them.

They made it look so easy. Eli chirped, “They must work hard. Also, they should care for their bodies to keep jumping and running.”
