It was a boring day.

Eli and I were thinking about fun ways to spend the day. I asked, “Eli, what should we do today?” Eli flapped her wings. She said, “Let’s have a tour to interesting places!”

I asked, “What is the first step Riri?”

She thought for a moment. She suggested, “We can use a map to look for interesting places. Then, we can decide which transportation method to use.” I said, “That sounds fun.”

We used a city map. Then, we identified some interesting places. We calculated the distances between them.

Then, we thought of the time to reach them by different means of transport

We decided to use two ways: one by bus, and the other by bicycle.

Our plan was to go to the city library first by bus at 10 am.
Then, to have lunch at 1 pm. And we will go to the city’s natural park at 3 pm by bike.
I asked: “Do we have enough time for everything, Eli?”. Eli smiled, “That’s why we must know different means of transport Riri. It helps us choose the best way to travel.

We went out. We completed our day successfully. We followed our plan and respected the timing. I learnt that choosing the right transportation was important. We had so much spare time for dinner. It was a great day.
